In the coming week we will be inviting Year 4 – 6 students, teachers and parents to provide feedback on their experience of our school using an annual online survey. The surveys are an important part of our whole school evaluation and planning process. They provide us with valuable data and opportunities for growth.
We would like to invite you to complete the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Partners in Learning survey. As we value the role of parents and carers within our school community we would greatly appreciate your feedback.
The information you provide will be used to maintain our commitment to working together in partnership to further improve student learning and wellbeing at St Thomas More’s.
The survey is anonymous and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. You are able to access the parent survey on your computer or mobile device by using a URL that will be sent via COMPASS.
Students will be given the opportunity to complete their survey at school next week.
Ginninderry Excursion
Our Whole School Excursion, held yesterday, was a wonderful experience of Country and Community as well as celebrating NAIDOC Week. We were led by Ms Strmota and Kye and their experience as Rangers was greatly appreciated. Our children followed our School Creed as they interacted in the wider community.
Have a lovely week ahead.

Principal

Parent Information Session - School Counsellor
SAVE THE DATE - During the upcoming School Disco on Thursday 12th September from 6-7pm, I will be running a parent information session in the library about emotional intelligence in children. The session will be timed to enable you to drop your children at the disco and collect them at the end, and will cover:
- What is emotional intelligence?
- Why is emotional intelligence important for children and how does it impact them at school?
- What do we need to consider in terms of child development and different ages and stages?
- How can you help develop your child’s emotional intelligence?
- Where can you access further information and support?
More information regarding expressions of interest will follow. I hope to see you there!
