World Support Staff Day
We have been celebrating World Support Staff Day. We have an amazing team here at STM. Our Support Staff- front office manager, classroom support assistants, Defence Schools Mentor, Parent Engagement Coordinator, School Chaplain and grounds maintenance manager work tirelessly to ensure our students are inspired and nurtured. We thank them for their dedication and commitment to our school community.
Uniforms
Please ensure your child is wearing the correct uniform as outlined in our policy below and is also available on the school website. As colder weather arrives we are also finding lost jumpers which are unnamed. We ask that you label your child’s clothing so it can make its way home if it is discarded. Hats are still worn until June which is next week!
Lowes is our preferred supplier of uniforms and we have second hand items available from our clothing pool. Please contact our front office manager Angela to make a purchase.
Our uniform policy also outlines the correct colours and expectations for socks, hair accessories, nail polish and jewellery.
We understand children enjoy a treat of a hot drink on the way to school, however the playground is not the place for these to be consumed. Please ensure your child does not enter our school grounds with a hot beverage. We ask they finish this drink in your car.
School Tours
Last night we had prospective families visit our school for an open evening. Our school captains, Alyssa and Katherine provided an engaging and welcoming talk and tour of our school.
Kindergarten enrolment interviews are being held next week.
