Open Morning
We welcomed visitors to our school this morning for enrolment tours. Our school captains proudly led visitors around the school to see our students Centred in their learning, our teachers providing learning experiences which were knowledge rich and explicit, direct instruction and our beautiful grounds.
Enrolment period for 2025 closes May 31st.
Mothers Day Breakfast and Raffle
3/4 White families have great plans for breakfast this Friday from 8am in the courtyard.
Thank you to all families who have donated gifts for the raffle. There are great prizes for pampering, family togetherness time and celebrating.
The major prize donated from Bunnings is a leaf and grass collector and our ACTEW AGL families have donated a Canberra Monopoly and Raiders tickets.
Tickets for the raffle can be purchased through the QKR app or on Friday morning paying with cash only.
Cross Country
Our Cross Country Carnival is this Friday. Students will need to wear their sport uniform on Friday. They can wear a coloured t-shirt of their house colour with their sport uniform. House meetings are occurring tomorrow afternoon led by our sport captains who are ready to lead their house in encouraging their runners more.
Early Career Teacher Commissioning and Induction
We recognise Olivia O’Donnell, our 3/4 Green teacher as she attends an Early Career Teacher Induction tomorrow and Friday. Tomorrow afternoon we celebrate with her at a Commissioning Mass at St Christopher’s Cathedral. We are so fortunate to have Olivia teaching at our school and wish her every success at the beginning of her career and vocation as a Catholic educator.
Catholic School School Parents Council
The Council of Catholic School Parents Archdiocese of Canberra Goulburn (CSPACG) meets each term to discuss educational issues and other matters impacting our families.

We wish all Mothers and those who ‘mother’, nurture the hearts of children and impart their wisdom to help them grow, a happy Mothers day this Sunday.

5.6 Green have had a great start to the term. We have been examining how mould spreads on bread when placed in various environments.
We focused on forehands and backhands during our tennis lesson.
We also looked at the Marth and Mary scripture passage which reminds us to be present in the moment.
Sofia and Katherine represented St Thomas More’s primary school at the ACT Swimming Titles competing in 11 events between them. They represented the school with pride, and we are very proud of their achievements. Congratulations to you both, well done.
