Grandparents Day
We look forward to welcoming Grandparents and special friends to our school next Friday at 8:50am in Holy Faith Hall. Thank you to our Year 2 families who will be hosting the morning tea for our Grandparents!
NAPLAN
Our Years 3 and 5 students have commenced NAPLAN testing for the year. They were all very calm and the school was a peaceful environment to optimise their concentration. We know they will inspire the minds of the markers reading their writing!
Registration Standards and School Improvement Review
In two weeks time our school will be participating in the registration process through Catholic Education. Registration occurs every 5 years and involves a panel of 7 members of Catholic Education spending 2 days at the school ensuring we are compliant against Catholic Education specific requirements and the Non-government Schools Registrations Standards. The staff have been working towards a submission of documentation that will be given to the panel today in preparation of their visit. The students will meet the panel at a Centred in Faith Gathering at 8:50am on Wednesday 29 March. Parents are also welcome to attend with gathering. We look forward to celebrating all that St Thomas More's is with the panel and drawing on their expertise for guidance in our future endeavours.

Preparations are underway for our school Anzac Day ceremony on Friday 28th April. If any serving parents are available and willing to do a short reading at our service, please get in touch with our Defence Mentors as it would be great to have you support our ceremony. We have had our first Kindergarten students attend Defence lunchtime club on Wednesday which has been exciting.
Last week we celebrated International Women's Day by making paper tulips and colouring in. Remember if any Defence students have suggestions for Defence club there is a suggestion box located at the front office.
