First Holy Communion
Congratulations to the students who received the Sacrament of Eucharist on Sunday. Thank you to Fr Emil, Miss Andrea McQuirk, Miss Brittney Temple, Mrs Samantha Mance and Anh Tran for working with the students to ensure they were prepared and ready to receive Jesus. This coming Sunday we have three more students who will receive First Eucharist.
Parent/Teacher Interviews
Reports will be published via COMPASS this Friday. Parent/Teacher Interviews will be held next Tuesday and Wednesday (June 15 & 16). Due to Catholic Education’s decision not to include comments in the Semester One report we are offering 20-minute timeslots for P/T Interviews. Bookings will open today and can be made via COMPASS.
Cross Country
Congratulations to the students who represented our school at the North/Gungahlin Cross Country last Friday. I received the following email from a parent –
I went to the regional cross country today and just wanted to share with you how nice it was to see the STM school children all cheering for all their fellow STM runners as they ran past. Even if they were not in the same class or same friend group the STM kids cheered for each other. It was a very nice and supportive spirit.
Congratulations to Ryan Curtin (Yr. 2) and Cillian Needham-Dunn (Yr. 4) who now move through to the ACT Cross Country Championship.

Coerver Soccer Clinics
Congratualtions to all of the students who have participated in the Coerver Clinics at STM.
Special Congratulations goes to Olive Moufarrige, for being selected as the recipient of the Player of the Program for the Coerver Coaching ACT at St Thomas More’s Skills Clinic – Term 2 2021.
Each program a player is selected as the Player of the Program recipient for their squad. The Player of the Program is awarded to the player who exemplifies the Coerver Spirit of good attitude towards practice and play, the 5 S’s of the Coerver Code; Skill, Strength, Speed, Sense & Spirit, as well as dedication to their technical development. While not necessarily the ‘best’ player, the Player of the Program sets a positive example for the squad, leads by example and complete their Home Study Program.
