Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you’re all praying that we do not return to remote learning! I certainly am. Schools have been asked to prepare for online learning in the event that we need to move quickly to a different format. I wanted to assure you that we are working behind the scenes to get everything organised as best we can. If students are required to work from home our Yr. 3 to Yr. 6 students will be provided with a Chromebook laptop, if they do not already have a device they can work from. (Our students will be accessing their daily work schedule and tasks through Microsoft Teams). Kinder will access Google Classroom, which is a tab in Microsoft Teams.

The following documents will be sent home with students this Friday:

1. How to login to Microsoft Teams.
2. STM Expectations Student Poster
3. Student passwords.

As was the case last year, we will be open for children of essential workers. More information on this will be circulated once we have a clearer idea of the situation.

Grandparent’s Day  

Thank you to all our grandparents and the special people in our student’s lives for coming along to our Prayer liturgy last Friday. The Yr. 5/6 students and teachers presented a beautiful liturgy.

Athletics Carnival

We are looking forward to our Athletics Carnival this Friday. We will be catching buses to Merici College, leaving at 9:15am. A very big “thank you” to Brittney Temple and Andrea McQuirk for organising the day. Special thanks also to all the parent volunteers – we could not run this event without your help.

100 Days of Kinder

Congratulations to our Kinder students who are celebrating 100 days of school today! They have had a fun-filled day, with many treats.

Hats on!

From the beginning of August through to the end of May sun protection will be required for at least part or most of each day in Canberra. So, next Monday, we will start implementing our school's sun protection policy and ask the students to wear their hats during outdoor play.

Uniform

Just a reminder that we are currently wearing Winter uniform. Thank you to those parents who are enforcing our uniform policy. Girls wear navy tights or navy socks with the Winter uniform.
