We are a Community Living with the Spirit
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.Galatians 5:22-23
We learn from the scripture that these are not individual fruits from which we pick and choose. Rather, the fruit of the Spirit is one ‘ninefold’ fruit that characterises all who truly walk in the Holy Spirit. These are the attributes that all Christians should be demonstrating in their lives. The children are beginning to identify when people in their lives demonstrate these attributes. Here are some reflections from 3/4 Green
...Recently I saw two of them- kindness and gentleness. People were helping me to find something at home.
I have seen self-control and joy. I recently got a gift voucher. My brother didn’t get angry; he looked at what I had bought with the gift voucher.
My brother showed self-control. I was playing on his ipad; even though he was really mad he showed self-control and didn’t hit me.
My sister was very angry. My Mum showed kindness when she spoke to her calmly.
